Overview

Apex Bot brings Apex Legends information into Discord, from cross-platform player profiles to Battle Royale and Mixtape rotations. It is an installable community bot with focused slash commands for checking game data and quick utilities.

What it does

  • Player lookups cover Steam, Origin, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox; results can include the selected legend, trackers, account level, Battle Pass level, and Battle Royale rank.
  • Commands show current Battle Royale and Mixtape maps, including active in-game rotations.
  • Members can check Apex Legends server status or ask the bot to choose a random legend.
  • The bot reports the Apex Predator threshold for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

Engineering notes

  • The public bot is used through Discord slash commands, so lookup results are delivered inside the community where players are chatting.
  • JavaScript and discord.js connect the command interface to Apex Legends player and game information.
  • Player fields depend on the platform and the information available for the account at lookup time.

Project notes

Product and scope

The project is a public Discord application built around concise, in-context game lookups. A server can add the bot, then members can call its slash commands without leaving their conversation to search for player, map, or server information.

Working with live game data

The documented command set includes player profiles, Battle Royale and Mixtape maps, server status, a random legend picker, rank distribution, and platform-specific Apex Predator thresholds. Profile details vary by platform and account, so the bot presents the fields that the upstream service returns instead of promising a fixed profile shape.
